College Bound Programs at CAS

AP Courses
AP courses are currently offered at CAS to qualified juniors and seniors. AP courses offer students the chance to participate in rigorous college level classes with the possibility of earning college level credit.

Supplemental Credit Options
Coral Academy of Science accepts supplemental credits through the Washoe County Supplemental Credit office. These credits include credits earned via Credit by Exam and the Wolf Program. Please visit http://www.washoe.k12.nv.us/suppcredit/index.php for more information.

Dual Credit / College Credit
CAS accepts many courses taken at UNR in independent studies program. The courses can be counted as both high school credit and college credit. Students must get an approval from the college counselor to make sure the course taken counts for high school graduation requirements.

Early Graduation
UNR offers variety of High School Courses as independent study. Students may graduate from CAS by taking the courses that meet the graduations requirements. Students are encouraged to contact the college counselor if they wish to pursue the early graduation program.
